Mrs. Theodore Burton, assisted by
Mrs. Fiank Saunders, was hostess at
her home Thursday afternoon to the
members of the Gates Womans Club
at the social meeting. The afternoon
was spent in informal discussion of
plans for the annual bazaar to be
given Saturday evening, Dec. 3, in
the social rooms of the high school.
Theodore Burton gave a short talk
offering suggestions as to ways and
means of raising money to finish the
clubhouse now under construction.
Refreshments were served by the
hostesses to Mrs. Lincoln Henness,
Mrs. Albert Millsap, Mrs. Elmer
Stewart, Mrs. Harold Wilson, Mrs.
Lairy Shelton, Mrs. Floyd Völkel,
Mrs. Laura Joaquin, Mrs. Glen Hear
ing, Mrs. C. O. Rhames, Mrs. Edward
Chance and Mis. Joe Joaquin. The
next regular meeting of the club will
be held at the school house Dec. 10.
Mrs. William Pennick was hostess

her daughter, and their mothers, on
