Alvin Anderson from Oiegon State College spent Sunday afternoon with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Bon ham. David and Harry Barnhait have occupied one of the cabins here. They formerly stayed in Mill City. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Green and fam ily and Mr. and Mrs. L. F. Brown and family have moved to Portland where they are still employed by Montag. Mr. and Mrs. David Luck spent Friday in Salem. Mrs. Luck was busy paintin gher trailer over the week end. Mrs. C. C. Vaughn has been quite ill with the flu this week, being con fined to her bed several days. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Hogan and Mr. and Mrs. Batney Helt and family spent Sunday in Salem. Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Hamman and daughter Nancy spent Sunday in Port land with his father, Mr. Hamman, who is recovering from an operation. Mrs. Arthur Peterson and children visited in Portland Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. George McBride and Mr. and Mrs. Red Parker motored to Portland and into Washington on a sightseeing trip.
