Registers 200
Lyons, Mari-Linn School opened on
Monday with the enrollment nearing
the 200 figure.
Mrs. Leoia Stevens again is prin­
cipal and eighth grade teacher. Oth­
er teachers are: 1st grade, Mrs. Vera
Smith; 2nd, Mrs. Katie Skillings; 3rd,
Mrs. Elva Kuiken; 4th, Mrs. Gladys
Poole; 5th, Mrs. Elsie Lafky; 6th,

Bus schedules are approximately as
follows: The Stayton bus will pick
up along the Jordan road about 7:45.
The Lyons bus will pick up on Mc­

7:45. The Lyons bus will reach Gooch
about 8:30.
Grades 1, 2 and 3 will be at the
Lyons school, and grades 4 to 8 will
be at Fox Valley until the new school
building is completed, about the lat­
