W. F. Love of Eugene visited his
brother, J. B. Love over the week end.
The son of Madame Schumann-
Heinck was in Mill City lacently.
Miss Gail Price of Philadelphia is
the guest of Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Kim­
mel. She has been an exchange tea­
cher of Hawaii and is on her return
to Hawaii.
Gates Cochran and Ben Bodeker
are leaving August 13 for Ketchikan,
Alaska to be gone until September.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Veness and
family had a picnic at Whitewater,
camp Sunday.
Miss Josephine Wolveiton and Mrs.
Charles Wolverton, Lincoln and Jeff­
erson had an eventful trip to Silver
Creek Falls Saturday. Jeffie caught
his hand in the car door and Lincoln
slammed the other door, breaking
the glass and cutting his hand.
Mrs. W. I. Wolverton and Miss
Josephine Wolverton returned to
Chicago Monday, Mrs. Charles Wol­
verton driving them to Portland.
Oregon mayors will again be hon­
ored at the Oregon State Fair in Sa-
Mr. and Mrs. Carl Shafer of Idanha
stayed all night with the ChailesCru-
sons Friday.

Jane and Mary Jo Wolverton drove
to the coast Sunday staying all night
at Waldport. They took a ciuise at
Depoe Bay, and on their return home
stopped at points of intertst.
Mr. and Mrs. Dana Church and
children visited the Wolvertons on
Sunday, Chrystal staying all night.
Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Faust their son-
in- law and daughter and grandchild
in Albany Sunday.
Seen in Salem Monday were Lu-
ella Mason. Al Milsap. and Wilbur
Meinert.
Dick Kanoff returned from the
boy scout camp Sunday.
