At the end of the day, laden with

home.
Mr. and Mrsy Glen Ewalt, Mr. and ’turned to the picnic table for a last
morsel.
Next was the rodeo at St. Paul,
where topnotch cowboys bull dog,
calf rope, ride wild horses and bulls,
and always there’s a clown for
laughs. Said a fellow who was chased
by a huge Brahma to the fence:
’Dented my trailer hitch.”
Tuesday we saw wrestling matches
which ended with one brawler chas
ing the other out of the ring.
My husband likes to ride a bike.
“I used to be good on one of these
things,” he boasted as he wobbled
toward the beach, down at the coast.
In his way, on a narrow road, was
parked a new and shiny Cadillac oc
cupied by a haughty dowager whose
expression turned to one of horror
as Ray crashed into the side of her
glistening vehicle.
For a better ride we rented some
saddle horses. Daughter Gerry, aged
six, was in ecstacy on a ewe-necked
strawberry roan with a backbone like
h razor, but to her as thrilling as

the Canyon communities to see their
new building before the fixtures were
moved in. The interior was brilliant
ly lighted with rows of cold fluor
escent lamps, and provdes a floor
space of 80 foot frontage, 60 feet
deep, the biggest yet for Mill City.
Music for the dance was provided
by Arey Podrabsky’s orchestra. The
Volunteer Firemen put on a demon
stration on a nearby lot before the
dance bagan.
The new building is the latest in
store design. The complete frontage
has large plate glass panes, a mod
ern heating plant has been installed,
and a parking lot capable of taking
care of 100 cars is provided along
side.
Harold Kliewer’s wholesale meat
plant has been furnished quarters in
the rear part of the building.
