There are about SO in the 4-H pro gram in the Lyons district, and they are making splendid progress under their leaders, Mr. and Mrs. Paul John son, Mrs. Percy Hiatt and Mrs. Al bert Carr. The leaders went with the club mevnbers to compete with Linn County contestants at the fair in Al bany Saturday. The Parent-Teacher Assn, held its meeting at Rebekah Hall Friday. El ection of officers was the main busi ness. Burl Smith was re-elected pre sident. Leora Stevens re-elected vice president, M r s. Robert Fetherston. secretary, and Jim Ixinde, treasurer. Plans were marie for an end-of- school picnic to be held on the school •a grounds June 5. There will be a good time for everyone, with races, games, a basket dinner at noon.
