Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Carter oi I
home of Mrs. Mel Robison on Tues­
day evening.
Henry Bayless, principal of the
Mill City high school, has purchased
a lot from Mrs. Bertha Shepherd in
the Shepherd's tract.
Mr. and Mrs. A. T. Ritter of West
port, Ore. are new residents of Mill
City arriving Sunday. Mrs. Ritter is
employed by the Inn Side Cafe as
general manager and cook.
Mrs. Ward Inglis of Stayton will
be in Mill City Tuesday afternoon, on
May 17 at 2 p. m. to demonstrate the
making of corsages at th« home of
Mrs. James Swan.
Members of the Mill City Garden
club, friends and anyone inteiested in
joining is invited.

respirator in Mill City. It was former­
ly announced that Mrs. Lowell Cree
canvassed here.
Mr. and Mrs. Ray Johnson accom­
panied by her mother, Mm. Jennie
Thompson, spent Mothers Day at the
home of Mrs. Johnson’s brother and
sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. C. E.
Thmpson at Redmond. Their mother
will stay for a few days’ visit.
Mr and Mrs Claude Miller of Mill
City and Mr. and Mrs. Albie Fisher
and daughter Nina of Forest Grove
were Detroit visitors Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Lovell are
the parents of a baby girl, born in
a Salem hospital Tuesday morning.
