DETROIT

The Detroit-Idanha PT A benefit
given at the old grade school build­
ing Thursday and Friday evenings
was a decided success. The build.ng
was crowded both evenings and some
standing room was »old Friday eve­
ning. A total of $236.35 was grossed
from the sale of tickets and pie« af­
ter the show.
The one-act farce, “Calling A 11
Carr’s” p-^t on by Bruce Gorden, Bet­
ty Pittam, Rilla Schaefer, Reba Sny­
der, Warren Stahl, Mary Gulliford,
Frank New and Roselle Vickers, with
Mr». John Ray directing, displayed
lots of talent.
The minstrel show had 25 charac­
ters.
They .were Joan Cauble, Ben Todd,
Mrs. Eli Bangs, Eldon White, Russell
Hoyt, S. T. Moore, Dick Thorton. Ro­
nald Morgan, Dick Haseman, Har­
low White, Frank Wilson, Ruth Skid­
more, Mrs. E. W. Bray, Jean Bray,
Shirley Hammer, Dorothy Morgan,
Mary Gordon, Marlene White, Frank­
ie Payne, Bob Budlong, Virginia O’­
Brien, Mary Impsem and Lillian Carl
son. Nolan Rasnick was interlocutor

Young added much to the success of
the show.
