Eighty-six were present at Sunday school with more for the dinner and the film in the afternoon. Mrs. Wairen Stahl and son and Mrs. Carl Schaffer and Mrs. Albert Snyder were in Salem on business Thursday. Mi. and Mrs. Lloyd Girod enter tained- Saturday night for a number of friends. Many in the community are suf fering from severe colds and chil dren’s diseases. Could be the change able weather. Business took Jerry Pittam and Lloyd Giiod to Salem Friday. Carl Schaffer is much improving the appearance of his house, occu pied by Homer Thacker and family, with new -siding. Barney Johnson is assisting him. Mrs. Warren Stahl entertained 12 children Saturday afternoon, honor ing her daughter, Becky, on her 7th birthday. Games and records were enjoyed. Plans wete made for the 4-H Clubs to furnish the pro gram at the PTA meeting Friday. About 80 members will present a series of tableaus-nhowing what each club is doing. There also will be a musical program. Plans were made for a paity for achievement day May 11. The silver tea sponsored by the Women’s Society of Christian Ser vice was held in Rebekah Hall.
