The programme as virtually settled upon opens with the assembling of tho grand lodge of the state of Virginia in Alexandria on December 13. Cruller Ita.rued Shipwrecked Crew. Rio Janeiro, Aug. 23.—The United States cruiser Montgomery arrived here last night from Montevideo. She re ports having rescued the crew of the British steamer Nettleton, which went aground st Mane«, 20 miles east of this port. All the members of the Nettle ton’s crew were saved.
