If one desires to raise the largest quantity possible from a few seed, great results can be obtained by taking off the shoots and transplanting, but the potatoes will not grow large. It i may not be kuown to some people that each eye in a potato is capable of pro ducing a large number of shoots; as fast as taken off others will grow.
