THE TELEPHONE-REGISTER — July A _ 7, 1892 Mrs. Chas. Graves, of Centralia, Washington, arrived here Tuesday for a months’ visit. Jones <5: Adams yesterday decided to build a building 30 feet wide and 100 feet deep adjoining Wm. Camp- tiell’s proposed building, which is to be 60 feet front and 80 feet deep. Jones & Adams’ building will be two stories high and no doubt Campbell’s will be the same. This will leave a fine build ing site on the corner of Third and D streets unoccupied, which we are in formed is for sale. The county court yesterday approved the bonds of the various county officers and all were sworn in, except Sheriff’ Warren, who was absent looking for the murderer, Wilson. The bonds of Treasurer Pennington were approved, notwithstanding the fact that they were $5000 less than those required of Treasurer Talmage two years ago. This may be all right, but Talmage don’t feel very well over it. Henry Gee, road supervisor of the district embracing Bellevue, Sheridan and Willamina, has done an immense amount of work with the means at his disposal. He has already put over 5000 loads of gravel on the roads and the good work still goes on. The people of Amity have subscribed $1200 and the county will add $400 more for the grav eling of the road from Broadmead farm to Amity, and from the Henderson bridge to the intersection of the above road.
