The celebration at Dayton was, in
every detail a complete success. The
one particular feature of the day was
the mother goose lancers composed of
young people from McMinnville. The
prizes that were awarded to the partici
pators in the lancers are as follows:
First prize, Forrest Narver and Cynti-
tliia Fellows; second prize, Charley
Young; first prize in second set, Earnest
Henderson and Pearl Campbell; second
prize, Robert Henderson. Dr. Umphre.v
of Dayton won the fancy riding race in
the bicycle tournament, and Alderman
of Dayton the 3 mile race, the time we
could not ascertain. The address deliv
ered was very appropriate and the lan-
guageexceedingly good. Dayton can and
will give a good time to every one who
will journey to that place to celebrate.
