Bonneville. Iloud Hirer I'hone KM3 K VI ES S U B M IT T E D research conducted by the Bonne- ville Adm inistration during the past year, and on the basis o f confer ences and negotiations with many different types of organizations which have made application fo r Bonneville power, it has become apparent that the rate schedules adopted during the early stages o f development o f the project are not fully adquate fo r the purpose of meeting the requirements o f pros pective purchasers and at the same time carrying out the above policies expressed by Congress. It has therefore been advisable to prepare at this time a new set of rate schdules to supplement t h o s e which are now in effect. “ It is thought that the new sched ules provide a more flexible and appropriate basis on which to dis pose o f Bonneville power, and one which w ill more adequately meet the needs o f both publicly and privately owned purchasers.” For the past tw o weeks Barry Dibble, Assistant Bonneville A d ministrator, has been conferring with Federal Power Commission officials regarding the proposed schedules. Assisting him has been Adrian S. Fisher, special counsel fo r the project. James Lawrence Fly, who has been heading the Bonneville legal division, Monday flew back to W ashington to confer further ' zith engineers and officials of the Federal Pow er Commission.
