Florence. Italy
In the course o f her talk. Mrs
Martin traced the history o f the
pieces of Florentine furniture which
can l»' seen at the "Hood River Big
Apple' which is now located at
number 17. Hall Building, adjoining

Mrs Martin also sketched inter­
esting anecdotes from the colorful
lives of the artists o f that period
which she said coincided in point of
time with the date that Columbus
discovered America.
Mrs Martm and Mrs Halsted have
recently installed a telephone at
their headquarters and can be reach­
