“Jim” Merrill has had carpenters
and painters busy for two weeks en
larging the dining room in his res
taurant. He insists that all work and
no play makes for poor fishing, so he
is going to play Wednesday night.
The occasion will be the celebration
of the reopening of the dining room.
He is inviting friends from all over
the Bonneville Dam district to drop
around that evening and join in the
fun. He will tap two kegs of beer
while the night is still is young, and
so long as it lasts the treat will be
on the house. He has arranged for
music, and has put men to work get
ting the floor in splendid condition.
“Jim” Merrill is exceedingly popular
on both sides of the river and the
house should be packed.
