creation, that it realizes men must
have some amusements and pleasures.
If the workers are not allowed to sit
in public places and play cards for
pastime they will go elsewhere and
gamble for money. This subject is
one that demands attention. Cascade
Locks wants the good will and trade
of the dam employes. To win and
hold this trade it must provide the
workers and their families with clean,
wholesome entertainment.
