J. t. Breckenridge, Newly Elected
City School Superintenden
Chosen from a list of approximately
100 applicants, J. L. Breckenridge,* of
Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, was elected last
week by the school board of District
No. 3. to succeed A. M. Cannon to the
position of city superintendent of
schools.
Mr. Breckenridge, who is a graduate
of Oberlin'college, Ohio, with an A. B.
degree, comes to Hood River very high
ly recommended, according to memlwrs
of the board. He has been for fonr
