Child’s Funeral Friday
Following a private funeral at the
Anderson chapel Friday the body of
seven-year-old Freddie Johnson, son of
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Johnson, was. bur
k'd at Idlewild« cemetery. The little
boy died suddenly Thursday, after a
brief illness from diphtheria and septic
sore throat.
The sudden death of the child
alarmed jmrenta, and school author!-
ties took every precaution tp prevent
the spread of contagious disease. An
extra nurse has been employed and
children of all schools are l>elng kept
under constant observation.
