Thursday afternoon. Funds are being
raised for the erection of a fine club
house on East Jewett avenue.
Percy Hathaway, of the Carson dis
trict, visited Burdoin friends Bunday.
Mrs. A. J. Hessler, of Chicago, was
a recent visitor at the home of A. R.
Hayes.
The next meeting of the Woman's
club will be held November IB. Mrs.
B.. B. Buchanan, executive secretary of
Tuberculosis league of Seattle, and
Miss Charlotte Thompson, Washington
state nurse, are scheduled for address
