All Oregon Is suffering from failure
to keep the Portland municipal camp
grounds informed as to roads and
ncenery to tie ween in rural sections,
in the opinion of C. A. Bell, who
spent a day last week looking over
the big Portland park.
The Portland park is doing big
things, according to Mr. Bell, al
though it is handicapped in Several
ways. One of the yokes it wears,
he says, cornea from the tourist hav
ing to cross through a busy part of
town at a bad time.
‘TRie Portland business folk and
all of Oregon should be on the alert
to cooperate with the municipal auto
camp of the metropolis in the dissem
ination of information," said Mr. Bell.

A few months ago Laura I ji Plante
and Welsh were cast as daughter
and father In "Shootin' for Love,"
a Universal production starring Hoot
Gibson. The roles were dignified and
Laura kissed Webb on the brow snd
called him "father.”
Welsh plays Isaura's father in “Ex
citement," directed by Robert Hill,
her first starring feature under her
new contract with Universal, which
comes to the Liberty theatre Satur
day and Sunday. As the title1 indi
cate«, her role is of a rollicking na
ture and her affection toward her
screen dad is open and. Impulsive,
