A committee consisting of J. H. Joyce, Phil Metschan and another to be named by these two, was appointed to enter into negotiations with Homer Rogers, owner of the hotel for the pait vear. The plan is part of the association's campaign to provide adequate facilities tor tourists to Oregon's scenic spots. The hotel is located at an altitude of about 8,000 feet. It was built in 18'J and has accommodations for about 50 patrons. Local men present at the conference included Leslie liutler, E. O. Blanchar and C. A. Bell.
