Twin Tunnels Unsafe
After an inspection of the twin
tunnels between here and Hosier on
the Highway Herbert Nunn last week
declared the road through the bores
unsafe for travel because of falling
rocks. Arifrus McDonald, who has
charge of maintenance of the stretch,
has placed signs warning motorists

The State Highway had scheduled
a call for bids on concreting the tun
nels for today. Mr. Nunn believed an'
emergency existed and instructed that
the tunnels be shored up with timber.!

White Salmon Grade Under V ,
