HIGH SCHOOL NOTES
(By Laura M. Folts)
School opened Wednesday morning
after a vacation of a week. Friday

on account of insullicient heat. Mr.
Jones has been quite ill during the past
week with tonsilitia. and the hoys did
not understand the operating of the
furnace.
Monday at acsembly'one of the mem
bers of the Anti-Tuberculosis campaign
committee spoke to the students on the
urgent need of buying Red Cross
Christmas seals. Committees were
formed and two girls from each class
selected. They were : Seniors, Dor
othy Cram and Laura Folts; juniors,
Louise Von'der Ahe and Edith Swick ;
sophomore, Janet Slade and Helen
Hershner; freshman, Jessie Sletton and
Frances Fuller. Each committee was
given ii worth of wall and it luppoted'
to dispose of that many, if not more.
