NAVAL ENLISTMENTS

been reopened at the U. S. Naval
training camp, Seattle. Any citizen
between IN and Xt is eligible.
Recruits will recti ve a thorough
course in naval instruction, said course
averaging about four months.
lhis camp is regarded bv naval offic
ers as having the best all round com
bination id advantages of any naval
training 'camp in the countrv. It is
located on the grounds of the Univers
ity of Washington and fronts on Lakes
Washington ud Union. All the facili
ties of the university are available for
instruction.
In connection with the station is the
U. S. I'rincetirn, used for ship fcyain
ing. It is found that men who are
trained at fris camp have a deckled
advantage when going to sea bv reason
of special now ledge gained while un-'
tier instruction here and many of j.em
aie rapidly promoted.
