Cram is win conmMie:SGu goiig to stay k Hood' River mg oily best merchandi Ladies' "Furnishings" Dozens of items hard-to-get-on-account-of-the-war, many of them so necessary to Milady's correct dressing-and happi ness, have recently been received and are now displayed here. While price is secondary to availability yet we are able to make buyers substantial savings even in some of these items. Fine grained black leather, neatly lined IT has been rumored that Cram's Store was go ing out of business, or going to remove from Hood River. This is an error which we are glad to correct. This store has no thought of discon tinuing. In fact, preparations are right now un der way for bigger businessbuilt on the solid foundation established in this city 17 years ago. We are, however, operating along an improved plan: CRAM QUALITY MUST BE MAINTAINED as usual, but PRICE MOST TOUCH LOWEST LEVEL at all times. If a recognized regular profit would say "35c" our new plan says "28c." If $10 would ordinarily be marked on a price ticket, our quick-sale-small-profit-plan quotes $7.92. That's the new method in a nutshell, and it's a sure winner. . . . New Fall Goods are rapidly coming in and as they arrive are being placed imme diately "on sale" by the plan outlined above. 92c Ready-to -Wear Coats, Skirts and Waists The reputation we have long enjoyed for carrying fashionable apparel is a source of considerable pride to us. The Fall of 1917 will only strengthen that position for we are constantly in receipt of express packages of distinctly new. garments from America's best makers. We have just received from Philadelphiathe "home of high class waists" a most beautiful line of new blouses. They are enthusiastically pronounced the prettiest waists ever shown in Hood River and not the least attractive feature is that there are no two alike in the entire gathering of over 200 garments. Ladies may make their selections knowing there will not be another garment in the city like hers. Georgette and Crepe de Chine Silks in White and Colors. (See window d0 00 n.iTnrl MO A display.)
