Kunarr.aker baa invented a new sizing machine, one of which, recently completed at the Dark carpenter shop in the old armory building on Cascade avenue, hat created an interest amorg the orchardists who have seen it in operation. The new machine will size two grades at once. The fruit is fed into shallow metal covered cups that move along beneath loose hung boards. These boards are graduated in height from the cups, brusing off first the large fruit, and then the smaller and smaller sizes. The apples fall directly into the packing tables within easy reach of the packers. This is the second sizing machine to be built by Mr. Nunamaker. Last fall he constructed a hand sizer. The re cently manufactured machine will be power driven. Its cott is estimated to be less than 1150. oe. Plaintiff Lewd: MvUod, U A. L Hwlid, - 1.. . !....
