G. Dunwoodie, who regis tered here from Washington, D. C, at the Hotel Oregon on the day of Sep tember 11 and disappeared toon after his arrival. Marks on the linen shreds forming a shroud for the gruesome mass of bones and those on linen left in a bag at the hotel are identical. The corpse was discovered by a num ber of men who were out Sunday morn ing searching for the den of coyotes that have been molesting henroosts in the neighborhood. Both bands were gone, probably having been dragged away by coyotes. A 32 calibre re volver, with four chambers emptied, lying nearby and hole in the skull point to suicide. The hat worn by tbe man had been purchased at the Buff-um-Pendleton Co., in Portland. Other articles of clothing bore the names of Philadelphia clothier. Tickets for Washington streetcars were found in the pockets of the cloth ing worn at time of death and in the bag at the hotel. At the time of death the man wore a blue serge suit. The party of hunters consisted of Roy Ovey, Leo Hull. Al Reid ami k. E. Hirsch. The body was found bv Mr. Ovey, who notified the others and the coroner anu undertaker were summoned. The body now lies at the undertaking establish ment of S. E. Bartmess, who will keep it for some time in hnnos that relatives of the "dead man may be discovered.
