The bride wore a lovely gown of
heavily embroidered silk mull. Her
only ornament was a necklace of pearls
and she was very beaulilul in her
girlish purity and simplicity. The

with a pink floral design and carried a
houijuet of pink carnations. 'J he bride
was the happy teeipient of many
valiihble and beautiful presents, con

among the many valuable presents was

Geo. II. Steinhofl' and II. II. Hadloek
have formed a partnership, under the
name of liarihrk Air Steinhntr, and will
do a general ,reai estate and fire in
surance business here. The new firm,
which has itn ollies in the building on
the corner of Second street and Cascade
Avenue, will deal both in improved
orchard land and raw tracts. Mr.
Iiadlock has been engaged in the real
estate business for the past year,
having been ju partnership witn Geo.
W. Dnnmick, nod at the time of the
formation of the new company with
W. Id. McConnell. Mr. Steiiihotf has
resided here for a number of years,
having owned a ranch on Avulon W ay.
He has also been engaged in the en
graving business in Seattle.
Mr. Me'Connell, who, however, will
keep his ranch home here, has left for
Spokane, to take charge of the work of
an insurance company there.

for each message sent in addition to
the old rates, some fit) subscribers of
the W S. Valley 'telephone Cu. met Sat

.smii Telephone Company, ft is now
proposed to build a line from Trout
Lake to Underwood, a distance of .'',()
miles, wiiere the new line will he con
nected with the Underwood system,
thus securing service for a large ter
ritory. Long distance connection will
be made through White Salmon, or a
line to he run across to Hood Kivcr,
connecting with the Pacific Telephone
Company.
