HOOD RTTKlt ClLAClER, THURSDAY; AUGCST 31, 1911 I CHIPPENDALE I 1 fci PRETTIEST THING In My Home is a Macey Book Cabinet To surround your children with furniture by the Old Masters is an education. It is like living with cultured people. Why not one of the new Macey Book Cabinets In your home the only sectional bookcases made which express the genius of the most noted old fur niture craftsmen Sheraton, Chippendale. Robert Adam and Fra Junipero were as great in furniture art as Shakespeare in literature or Michael Angelo in painting. Why not a Macey Book Cabinet to inspire ambi tions and refined ideas of taste ig your children, never to be lost again throughout all the days of their lives. Why not indeed! But do you know it has taken years to bring this about? The new Macey Book Cabinets retain every de sir able feature of the Unit Idea. Ihe result has been worked out so that unit sections can be added, taken away, or re-arranged without destroying their beauty, The doors never stick, and always open nd close smoothly. Artful cabinet work now does away entirely with metal bands, so you never think of the ordinary sectional bookcases when you see Macey Book Cabinet Applying tlie Unit Idea to beautiful homo furniture ia tin conception of Mr. O, If. Basing his prediction on the .large number of fruit spurs being formed this year and the large number of trees whHh will come into bearing for the first time, FreJ Thompson of the Thompson Fruit company thinks that there will he next year a total of 7000 carloads of apples from the Yakima valley. Thompson makes this predic tion in Bpite of the fact that this year his estimates of the total crop are lower than most of those being made. Thompson says that this is the off year, in which an average of about 40 per cent of the normal crop may be expected. Next year 160 pur cent of the normal may jigain be expected, which with the young trees, will make the total of 7000 cars. He predicts a little less than 7000 carloads for 1913, and about 10,000 carloads in 11)14. Yakima Republic. Accused of Stealing, K. E.
