The Camas Prairie district offers not only the above feature but a speculation as well. Prices have just Parted to advance and this district is now becoming available aue to proposed drainage. The land being of deposit nature" is very productive and will be valuable for the production of high grade tim othy hay as well as for general dairy ing purposes. The people of the White Salmon Valley are in much the same position as in our own Valley in that they are heavy consumers and light producers. The haul on feed is cheaper in many cases from Camas i'rarie to the con sumer than from White Salmon. lhe land, although verv rich, is not producing the tame grasses at present due to overflow during a portion of each year. A system of canals is to put in by . "Camas I'rarie Drainage District Number One" which will eliminate this water and the ground will then be available for domestic crops. Ronds are being sold covering a term of years to do this work. We have some very interesting in vestments to offer at Camas Prarie and we expect to deal almost entirely with local people who may have a surplus to invest in something other than orchard lands. B. E. Duncan & Co. Absolutely Correct, and There's a Style for Every Head J. G. VOGT New Booklet un Swine Culture. The booklet, "Swine Culture," re cently issued by the.O-W. R. & N. Co. gives a very comprehensive Istatement of methods that may be successfully followed in swine raising in the North west. Many lartners in the grain belts of thp section are finding that it is very profitable to raise hogs. The industry, if intelligently pursued is very attractive. Cood returns are reasonably certain, and the problems of favorable conditions is less serious than almost any other branch of farm life. y The railroad company is "mailing the booklet to every farmer whose address it can obtain.
