plant known, grows 12 to 14 feet high

months from planting. It can be mowed

from three to five cuttings can lie se
cured in a season, vtith good care and
cultivation it will produce thirty ton

grown this far north or in the United
Stat. s to my knowledge. One pound of

cultivate frequently. The broad, dark

it surpasses in nutritive value any other
