Reports from Ulenn Voung who Is in a Portland sanataiium and ill of typhuid fev r shows no decided change. Mrs. Voung went to Port land Tuesday to be near her sick boy. Heal estate transfers reported for the past week but which we havu no yet verilled are the -2U acre property oooupied by Mrs. Sarah Hunter, nod the Smith-Lawiance property con fisting of 40 acres. I lie present ditch in Dukes Valley only covers a small area o' Und there, and should this scheme be pushed through, and indications show it -ill, tbe whole of Dukes Valley will be under Irrigation, and so insiite better crops and an advance in tbe price of laud.
