Kiver valley apple lauds Saturday
when ten acres was sold tor ll,ii.ill pre
acre, the sale which was made by the
HriggS'Ameut Land Co., was the west
half of the V, W. Kadford place to
Clyde K. Mason, of Chicago. Seven
aores Is in 8 year old trees and the
remaining three aores is in 0 year
olds. This nut only gives the liriggs

price ever paid tor laud in the valley
but they also hold the records which
they made this seasou tor It year old
orchards and for unimproved lauds,
t'hey receutly made a sale of the

ter for 700 an acre.
Mr. Mason receutly came from
Chicago with hiB wife and daughter
and they will have their household
goods forwarded immediately aud
make their home in the valley. Mr.
Mason is a nephew ot J. K. Sbolton,
of Grand Kaplds, Mich., who recently
bought a ranch la the valley.
