Yakima Is Third at Spokane Fair.
Yakima county took third place at
tbe green truit display at tbe inter
state fair at Spokane this week. 1'he
first prize wont to 0. U. France, of
Weuatcbee, who thus won $250 and
who also won $150 for tbe best 10 box
es of packed truit. In tbe green truit
display the second prize went to R
A. Jones, of K4verside notseries, near
Spokane, and third to tbe Yakima
Couuty Horticultural Union. Fourth
was wou bv the Hazlewood company
and fifth by Stevens county. Yakima

est display in the show, but Stevens
county, which was next to it made
the most artistic.
