Why Colds are Dangerous.
Because yon have contracted ordinary
colds and recovered from tnem without
treotment of any kind, do not for a
moment imagine that colds are not
dangerous, hveryone knows that pneu
inonia and chronic catarrh have their
origin in a common cold. Consumption
is not caused bv a cold but u cold pre
pares the system for the reception and
development of the germs that would
not have otherwise found lodgment. It
U the same with all infectious diseases.
Aiphtheria, rcarlet fever, measles and
whooping cough are uu'eh more likely
to be contracted when the child lias a
cold. You will see from this that more
real danger lurks in a cold than in any
other of the common ailments. Tie
easiest and quickest way to cure a cold
