Saturday evening Annt Dinah, feeling
ber very best, hied ber flock ot quilt
era to Park Grange, where tbey again
did proud to their well-earned repu
tation as actors and actresses. Tbey
did tbeir very beat, which was enjoyed
by a foil and appreciative house.
Tbe quilt tbey completed in their
party waa voted to Miss Alice Matk,
of Pine Grove, aa tbe moat populai
lady present. Pine Grovites extend
their thanks to Park Grange for tbe
liberal pationage and courteous treat
ment extended to visiting members.
A week from next Saturday we shall
bave tbe pleasure of listening to oue
ot Park Wrtnge's bome talent plays,
in our bail. Look out ioi band bills,
as "Topsy Turvy" will make fun for
all.
This play was first announced for
May 30, but being Memorial Day it
bas been postponed to June 0. Re

Memorial services were beld in our
Grunge hall on Sunday atternoon at
3 o'clock. Tbe ball waa appropriately
deoorited wiib tbe Amerloan flag and
flower. Rev. Gilmore, pastor of tbe
Congregational cburob of Hood River,
delivered an excellent sermon to a
crowded house. Special muaio for the
occasion was rendered tbe solo,"Abide
with Me," by Miss Cooper, being es
pecially enjoyed.
