Tbe dedication of the new Grange
Hall took plaoe Wednesday, February
12, by an all-day meeting and a jolll
float io a Id tbe evening. Tbe morn
log session was called to order at 10
o'clock. A very inteiesting program
was rendered. Tbe address of wel
come was given by E. E. Lege, worthy
master of local grange, wbioh was re
sponded to by A. T. Buxton, state
master, following which were addrestej
and music Tbn noon boar was si ent
in enjoying only such a dinner as can
be gotten up by grangers and Pine
Urovites. Ibe afternoon session was
called to order at 2 p. m. A patriotio
program followed, In wbioh tbe school
children took part. One ot tbe best
features of the day was tbe arrival ot
tbe sobool children who formed in
line at tbe school bouse and marched
witb flags flying and drums beating
to tbe ball. A free sapper and danoe
was given in tbe evening. It being
leap years the girls-stood up for tbeir
tights and allowed no boy to cross tbe
floor wi.bont a lfdy ecort, etc.
Among tbe visitors of note were A. X.

Mrs. Mary Howard, state seoretary,
