fouls were called on Tbe Dalles for
rough playing, while few were called
on Hood River.

than the first and rough playing was

flour, one cup milk, balf a tint of
oream, a pinch of salt. Let cool, add
the ioioe ot one lemon, then mix al
together,
To Cook Cranberries.
One quart of berries, one cap of
sugar, balf cup water, boll berries

crush tbem, then strain tbrougb a
fruit press upon tbe sugar, add a lit'

tbrougb tbe strainer agaiu. Stir to
dissohe tbe sugar.
