didn't eat any of tbe cheese, for 1
knew I would taste tobacco. 1 am
not a tobacco crank, for my bub and
and father both smoke, but 1 fail to

irons over a bit of sand paper before
returning thorn to the stove.

One quart ot tomatoes, three plots
of water, boll tbree-quarteia ot an
hour and tben strain. When hot
again add two ounces of flour and
four ounoea of butter mixed together

celery or parsley. Make a dressing of
vinegar, one small teaoupful, butter
tbe aize of an egg, mustard, one tea
spoontul, egps, two. Heat uutil as
thick aa cream, tot do not let it boil.
When ooid add half oup sweet cream.
Pour over tbe salmon and serve.
