Our One weather still continues but
it looks as though it would soon be
broken by tbe gentle patter of tbe
nioistore iu the shape of rain drops.
There seems to bave been a verv
good crop of coyotes this year as they
serenade tbe Dukes Valleyites almost
every nigbt. However, tbey bave not
dene muob damage yot. It is repott
ed that tbey killed three bead of goats
ror u. it. cone and have oaptured a
few chickens fioui different parties.
Tbe people of Duk. g Vallev seem to

tbe way of losing horses. J. E. Wbis

a barbed wire fence and died. Rov

there is no grett loss without some
