twice as large as it was last year, it is
not mote than 150,000 boxes. Ibis

ot apples will be shipped from Hood
River.
This is a greater number of cara
than is shipped from any other part
of Western Oregon. Heretofore Rogue

ity in Hood River valley than .it has
known at any time in its history.

Orchard Planting at Yakima.
The statement is made tbat 350,000
fruit trees were reoeived at Yakima
for fallplanting and tbat orders for
