We are glad to ray tbe son of Mr.
Jocbimsen, who was reported injured
by falling from bridge, is improviug

bridge and Mr. JoeVmsen and his
men were picking op tools when be
slipped and fell 10 feet , lauding on a
pile of rocks, catting a gash about
five inches long in the scalp and

Our roads are just a fright. Never
were so bad as they are now. It
seem to me tbat the apples will be

hauled over these roads. When we
complain to our commissioner be tells
ns there is no money. Our county is
It a fair shape, taxes are paid and we
are surely taxed prettty well. A new
administration would perhaps change
things a little anyway, our roads
could not be any worse.

A regulir meeting of Frankton
Orange was held Friday night, No
vember 23. New members initated
were Miss Crouse, Miss Blytbe and
Mr. McCutchison, sr. After tbe work
of the order waa completed an inter
esting program was rendered, tben

Friday nigbt every twoweeks instead
of monthly as heretofore. Lunch will
be served every alternate meeting. .

place. Mr. Lock bas a fine crop of
apples and tbe packers made good
