The Wasco County Exhibit.
A majestic Delaine ram, typifying
on of the greatest and most romni.er
ntivo industries of the state of Oio
gon, adorns the beautiful exhibit of
Wa-co county, in the Agrloiiltinal
building at tho Lewis anil Clark ex
position. Tho wool industry is cue
of tho greatest sources of revenue to
Wa.-co county, and the exhibits in
this respect are particularly compre
hensive, says an article in the Sunday
Oregon inn, doscrlptive of the Wasco
county booth.
The ram stands on a wood and glass
pyramid, which is ileoorated with
Oregon grapevine. In the pyramid
below are excellent samples of the
wool sheared from the blooded sheen

Wasco county does not depend en

emphasized by an exquisite display of

peaches, pears and many other kinds
of delicious fruit are also on exhibit,
as an example of the horticultural pi s

That Wasco County is productive of
many things is shown by an exhibit
of the wheat industry in which it is
one of the foremost counties in the
state. Tho wheat yield averages 1,

Oregon Is notol tor its vast fortsts

Some very artistio samples of tho
