West precinct gave McKinley 185; Bryan, 85; prohibition, 7; Palmer, 5, total, 282. ... :' East precinct, McKinley, 89; Bryan, 85; prohibition, 2; Palmer, 2 total, 178. - Jialdwiu ' precinct, McKinley, 22; Bryan, 29; Palmer, 1 total, 52. Two votes were thrown out in West precinct and 2 iu East precinct because of not being properly marked. In-West precinct 172 votes were cast before noon, and all were in before 5 o'clock. The 282 votes in this precinct were counted iu one hour. A good many votes were challenged and sworn in iu both precincts.
