HEARS VOICES Jack Reed can sit alone in his office in Dallas,
Texas, and hear voices. At first he thought the sounds were
coming from the wall, but an investigation showed that squelch
sialic from short-wave or FM transmitters containing occasional
voices were being received by his gas healer. He has received

Six Persons Die
As Flames Sweep

SPRING LAKE, Mich. (UPI)

early today when six persons,

flames swept their two-story
frame home on the outskirts of
this west Michigan community.
Stato police said the bodies of

ered. The victims were identified as
Donald Uennison. ts. his wife,
Alma. :, and Dennison's four
stepsons, Louis. 10, David, 8,
Liilly, 7, and Allen, 6.
The father of the boys, Louis
Hupp, a Dowagiac, Mich., used
car dealer arrived at the scene
about three hours after he had
been notified of the tragedy.

Americans Urged
Not To Visit Cyprus
WASHINGTON (UPI) - The
State Department is urging
Americans not to visit Cyprus
now because of armed clashes
between Turkish and Greek fac
tions on the island.
The department said Tuesday
that there arc no reports of any
Iniuries among Ihe estimated
1.5(10 U.S. citizens on Cyprus,
however, and no advisory had
hren issued for thrm to leave
Ihe island.
