ford Junior Service League's Christmas Ball was that of Mrs.
Houston Pitts, shown here dancing with Mr. Pitts. The hairdo, the
work of Barbara at Mann's Beauty Salon, was arranged in a
tower effect and lopped with a jewel. Mrs. Pitts, a league mem
ber, and Barbara added three hairpieces to Mrs. Pitts' natural

Leila Hale to David Ernest
Gossett Jr. was revealed last
week at a Christmas party in
Suzanne Homes Hall, Southern
Oregon College campus. The an
nouncement came during the
festivities attended by more
than 150 girls living in the dor
mitory where the bride has been
a councilor.
The new Mrs. Gossett is the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ro
land L. Treharne, Hawthorne,
Nev., who came to Ashland for
the wedding ceremony perform
