Girls Community Club. A gift
exchange will be held and dona
tions will be accepted on proj
ect to aid the deaf. Mrs. Irwin
Patten, of the lodge, is chair
man of the project.

When Miss Ruth Ann Bennett,
Springfield, and Mason H. Lud
wig, Eugene, former Medford
resident, were married Novem
ber 80 in Eugene, several rela
tives of the bridegroom from
Medford and Applegate were
among the guests.

nett, Springfield, and the bride
groom's parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Carl R. B. Ludwig, 511 Austin
Street, Medford, who went north
for the ceremony.

o'clock in the afternoon in the
Central United Presbyterian
Church. The Rev. John Ash
wood, minister of the church,
and the Rev. Ross Knotts. Eb-
bert Memorial Methodist
Church, Springfield, officiated.
Wears Taffeta
The bride's gown was of floor
length taffeta with an overdress
of lace which revealed a front
panel of the taffeta accented
by a lace bow with streamers.
Her fingertip veil, held by an
Elizabethan cap of lace and
pearls loaned by Mrs. Ralph
Bennett, Eugene, who served as
honor attendant. She carried a
white orchid with gold chrysan
themums and she wore crystals
which had belonged to her
grandmother.
Other attendants were Miss
Audrey Crawford, maid of hon
or and Miss Judy Gunkler,
bridesmaid. Their gowns were
similar to that worn by the
bride, all in gold tones with yel
low lace ovcrdreses. Their head
pieces were gold lace and they
carried bouquets of gold chrysanthemums.
Karen Joanne Bennett and
Kathern Ann Bennett, nciccs of
the bride, were flower girls.
They wore white dresses with
white hats and carried baskets
filled with gold chrysanthe
mums. Craig Mathcny, Apple
gate, nephew of the bridegroom,
carried the rings.
Lighting the candles were
Mrs. Robert Deck and Mrs.
Gary Mead. Their frocks were
of dark gold and their bouquets
were in the same shade.
Richard Brown, Hollywood,
Calif., was best man.
Brother Attends
Wallace Ludwig, Richmond,
Calif., and Ernst Ludwig, Whit-
tier, Cailf., brothers of the
bridegroom; Donald Day, Port
land, Kay Bradshaw and Kaipn
Bennett seated tne guests.
The church was decorated
with yellow and gold chrysan
themums. The reception was held in Fel
lowship Hall. Mrs. James Snow
had charge of the reception.
Mrs. Waller Steinko and Mrs.
Budd Griffin served the wed
ding cake, while Mrs. Marshall
Sweet, Medford, a sister of the
bridegroom and Miss Jean Bolt
on, North Bend, served coffee
and punch. Mrs. Lloyd Welles
and Mrs. Clifford Newman had
charge of gifts. Mrs. Sam Even
son registered the guests.
ine couple plans to make
their wedding trip during the
Christmas holidays. The bride
and bridegroom attended the
University of Oregon and both
are teachers. The bride is on
the teaching staff of Reedsport
High School and the bridegroom
teaches at Clear Lake Grade
School, Eugene. They will live
in the Eugene area.
The bridegroom attended
Southern Oregon College and is
a Medford High School gradu
ate. Mother Wears Lace
For her daughter's wedding
the bride's mother wore a light
blue lace ensemble with beige
accessories and the bride
groom's mother chose a tur
quoise blue sheath dress with
white accessories. Both had
white gold - throated orchids.

MONTAGUE - Mrs. Aldee
Davis entertained the Little
Shasta Bridge Club at her ranch
home in the Little Shasta area
December 10. She was assisted
by her sister, Miss Jessie Coon
rod. The home was decorated with
hand made decorations from na
tive greenery. In spite of her 87
years, the hostess had made
the wreaths and arrangements
which lent a festive air to the
home.
Dessert was followed by
cards. Prizes were won by Mrs.
Effie Butler, Mrs. Ora McGreg
or, Mrs. Larry Walters, Mrs.
Pauline Snider, and Mrs. Elsie
Turner.

Chapter CG will meet Wednes
day, December 18, at the home
of Mrs. G. T. Haupert, 222 Val
ley View Drive. A gift exchange
will be held and Mrs. R. E.
Mencke will give the program,
"Time for Christmas."
Chapter CP will meet for
lunch Wednesday, December 18,
at 12:30 p.m. at the home of
Mrs. Robert Reichers, 2447 Hill
crest Road. She will be assisted
by Mrs. Allen Smith and Mrs.
Donald Gardner.
The Christmas program,
"Christmas Jewels' will be giv
en by Mrs. Irving A. Mirick to
be followed by a gift exchange.
The Chapter CG meeting will
be at 7:30 p.m. with a commit
tee including Mrs. R. J. O'Sul

ing conducted by Mrs. Phillips

meeting January 12. The reg
ular association meeting next
month will be January 9 instead
of January 2.
