ter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas W.
Eastman, Prospect. Mrs. Gies
brccht is a son of Mr. and Mrs.
John V. Gicsbrecht, Dallas.
The Rev. Clarence H. Walth
officiated at the 8 o'clock eve
ning rites held at the Salt Creek
American Baptist Church in
Dallas. About 100 guests attend
ed the November 15 double ring
wedding. Mrs. William Gies-
brecht. aunt of the bridegroom,
played the organ wedding music
and accompanied Terry Murry,
soloist.
The bride, given in marriage
by her father, wore a floor
length gown of white satin and
she carried a bouquet of roses
and carnations.
Miss Jill Hedgpeth, Prospect,
attended the bride. She wore a
red brocaded dress with match
ing accessories and carried a
bouquet of red and white car
nations. Gary Glesbrecht, Dallas, serv
ed as best man for his brother.
Ushers were Clifford and Del
bert Hoekstre.
Following the ceremony a re
ception was held at the church
by Mrs. Orvel Aebi and Mn.
Gid Hevener.
The bride Is a graduate of
Prospect High School and is em
ployed in the business office of
(he Oregon Public Welfare Com
mission. Mr. Glesbrecht, a grad
uate of Dallas High School, is a
machinist with the Gerlinger
Carrier Company in Dallas.

High School sang the wedding

The nuptial mass was cele
brated and the wedding cere
mony performed by the Rev.
William McLeod at 10:30 o'clock
in the morning. Sister Miriam
Joseph directed the choir.

themums. Sisters Attend Bride
Miss Kathleen Meeker was
honor attendant for her sister,
and Dcbra Meeker, another sis
ler, was tlower girl. Their
gowns were of orchid brocade
and they carried bouquets of
white and pink chrysanthe
mums.
Gary Meeker carried the rings
and Glen and Dennis Meeker
were altar boys. All are bro
thers of the bride.
Thomas Depner served as best
man and ushers were Thomas
Rouhier, and James Rouhier,
Brothers o the bridegroom.
Reception Given
The reception was given by
the bride's parents in their
home.
Cake was cut and served by
(he Misses Kerry O'Hara and
Charlotte Brown. Punch was
poured by Miss Jennifer Espcy
and the bride's sister, Kathy
Meeker, had charge of the
guest book.
Guests from out of town in
cluded Jack Rouhier, San Fran
cisco; Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Wag
non and children, Eugene; Mrs.
Lorimcr Ireland, Kathy Ireland
and Mrs. Ned Barraclough, all
Ashland.
The couple made their wed

Road, Medford.

High Schools. The bride also at
tended Holy Names College,
Spokane, Wash., and the bride
groom has attended Southern

A wedding of interest to Rogue
Valley residents was held re
cently in Beaverton, Ore., when
Mrs. Julia Dawn Mason, daugh
ter of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne B.
Ezell, Aloha, Ore., former Cen
tral Point residents, became the
bride of Lloyd L. Minten, Salem.
Several area residents were
members of the wedding party.
The Rev. Brendan Fleming of
ficiated at the November 23
rites held at St. Cecilia's Church
in Beaverton, Ore. The bride
groom is the son of Mrs. S. A.
Minten, Beaverton, and the late
Mr. Minten.
Chrysanthemums in fall col
ors, carnations and iris decorat
ed the church for the one o'clock
afternoon rites. Mrs. Emma
Balfe was organist and accom
panied William McNicholas and
Joseph Jamieson, soloists.
The bride, escorted to the al
tar by her father, wore a white
bouquet taffeta gown fashioned
with fitted Chantilly lace bpdice

with lace panels embroidered
with seed pearls and rhine
stones. Her fingertip length veil
was held by a seed pearl tiara
and she carried a nosegay bou
quet of baby roses and carnations.

Mrs. David McGee, Medford,
was matron of honor. Her other
attendants were Mrs. David
Benson, Portland, her sister;
Miss Connie Morris, Portland,
and Mrs. Betty Stephenson,
Medford. They wore gold and
orange brocaded sheath dresses
with orange net hats and match
ing shoes. Each carried a single
large long stemmed brown
chrysanthemum with white
streamers.
William Roiling, Beaverton,
served as best man and seating
the guests were Richard Soule,
Bruce Moore and John George.
David Minten, brother of the
bridegroom, was altar boy. Car
ol Minten, his sister, was flower
girl, and John Ezell, brother of
the bride, was ring bearer.

Skiing Will Be Subject
For Evening s Program
'See and Ski" will he the
theme for an evening of enter
tainment to be provided free of
charge by Medford Jaycees in
the Medford High School audi
torium Wednesday, December
11 at 7:30 p.m.
Two films on skiing will be
shown, one an instructional film
and the other showing French
ski racing in which some of, the
participants are members of the
French Olympic ski team.
Non-skiers particularly are in-
v i t e d, Jaycees officers announced.

for the Oregon Dairy Council.

Nonsense" done by the College
of Home Economics, Cornell
University in cooperation with
the New York Cooperative Ex
tension Service; and the other is
"Science Tells Why . . . Food
Additives" put out by the Man

joint Christmas party with the
