column an exclusive report on
a new Hangover cure discov

To recap bnetiy, he drove
away the evil spirits by going
out on the prairie near Las Ve

and failing down over a gopher
hole.
The circumstances under
which this came about are
rather complicated and need
not be repeated, bullice to say
that some rather weird things
go on in the advertising busi
ness.
In telling me of his discovery,
the adman stressed the impor
tance of having the right num

Although conceding that addi

required to prove his assump

but I now have at hand a let
ter from a chiropractor in Wa
pakoneta, Ohio, which puts the
matter in a different light.
(I imagine, incidentally, that
the chiropractic business is
pretty good in Wapakoneta, Un
less you are in training, you
are likely to strain a muscle
just pronouncing it.)
Arajraine to the chiroprac
tor, the 10? cowboys that the
adman hired were only an inci
dental factor in the treatment.
He surmised that the "active"
ingredient was the type of tum
ble the adman took.
I believe the fall actually
cured this man's headache by
jarring displaced vertebrae of
his neck back into place. Nerve
tension, the immediate cause of
his symptoms, was relieved
and with it his hangover," the
chiropractor wrote.
"Such freak accidental ad
justments are exceedingly rare,
but not unknown to the chiro
practic profession. It is well
known among chiropractors
and their patients (hat almost
any kind of headache wheth
er due to eyestrain, sinus con-
Kestion, or from alcohol
here can usually be relieved
by an adjustment of the neck."
If this chiropractor has the
right slant and I have bo
reason to doubt it then I
certainly owe an apology to my
readers, particularly those who

As it turned out, they could
have cured their hangovers just
as well by falling down at

I wouldn't recommend the

I would say that Las Vegas
probably is the best place to

You can fall down there and

The CSU Collegian, the stu

telephone booth stuffing which
spread across many campuses
a few years ago.
But students thought the new
idea was better: More persons
